Abstract
Job performance generated by employees will provide a positive influence and support the success of organizational goals effectively and efficiently. When there is a difference or a gap between employee perceptions and perceptions of climate managers perceived it will enable the creation of employee performance. The Regional Development Planning Board (Bappeda) of Indragiri Hulu Regency, which is part or sub-system of the state bureaucratic system, in itself does not escape the demands to improve efficiency in managing resources and funds from both the central government and those from their own region. This study aims to determine how the influence of situational leadership style and organizational climate on the performance of employees of the Regional Development Planning Board of Indragiri Hulu Regency. This research uses quantitative approach with research characteristic is descriptive explanatory research. The results showed that simultaneously the situational leadership style and organizational climate had an effect on the work performance of the employees at the Regional Development Planning Board of Indragiri Hulu Regency, with a very significant level of influence. Where from the determination test R2 known that the variables of situational leadership style and organizational climate have an effect of 77.4% and the rest of 22.6% influenced by variables not examined in this study such as incentive variables, work motivation, work environment or organizational culture.
