Abstract

Fuel motor is a device that functions to convert heat energy from fuel into mechanical energy, where this process works automatically as a working fluid to perform mechanical work. One of the important parts in the combustion process is the ignition system (ignition). The piston movement to the ignition time, can be analyzed through the ignition degree. The appropriate degree of ignition is a useful factor in the combustion chamber. So this system is one of the important factors to produce good engine and engine power. From the performance analysis on an electric motor using a modified camshaft with a standard ignition degree produces a maximum power of 10.1 kW at 7238 Rpm rotation by providing a fuel of 0.0659 kg / kWh with a maximum torque of 10.29 Nm at 6869 Rpm rotation. The use of Dual Band ignition vehicles produces a maximum power of 10.1 kW at 7488 Rpm rotation by providing fuel of 0.0615 kg / kWh and a maximum torque of 10.45 Nm at 7000 Rpm round. The use of a modified camshaft using the degree of programmable ignition produces a maximum power of 10.3 kW at a speed of 7500 Rpm by providing fuel of 0.07328 kg / kWh with a maximum torque of 10.3 Nm at 7000 Rpm rotation. The degree of ignition of the Competition is superior to the standard ignition degree and Dual band.
