Abstract
Social media is currently very popular among teenagers especially students in Madrasah Aliyah 2 Model Pekanbaru from the observation that researchers do very many students who have social media applications Line Messenger than any other application and actively use this social media application as a daily communication tool. days that make it easy for them to exchange information quickly and easily in their use. Line application has become a communication tool and cannot be separated from daily activities, if observed more deeply this is what makes students at the Pekanbaru Model Madrasah Aliyah 2 choose social media because they can easily communicate instantly / practically. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors using line applications to the satisfaction of Madrasah Aliyah 2 Model Pekanbaru students. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method and uses a research design that seeks to give an overview of the situation, or what is called descriptive. The results showed that variable X or the use of line applications had a positive and significant influence on students' satisfaction in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pekanbaru City. Based on the determination coefficient test obtained value R. Square (R2) of 0.768 (76.8%) This explains that the satisfaction of students of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Pekanbaru City can be explained variable usage application line that is equal to 76.8%. While the remaining 23.2% describes other independent variables that were not observed in this study.
