Abstract

This study aims to detrmine students learning outcomes IPA class VIII2 SMP Kemala Pekanbaru Bhayangkari 1 academik year 2016/2017 tough the implementation of cooperative learning model of Jigsaw II by using Handout. Subject were VIII2 juniaor class Kemala Bhayangkari 1Pekanbaru the number of students 20 piople. Parameters measured were achievement cognitive assessment (PPK) and the scientific performance (KI). Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique. Results of the analysis carried out by two cycles conssistig of ten meetings, the absorption of students has increased by(1,79%) from the prior PTK (72,4%) as PTK first cycle (74,92%) after the second cycle (5,98%) have increased by (80,9%). Mastery learning students before PTK (45%) . in the first cycle increased to (75%) and second cycle (90%). At KI value (performance scientific) also inceased by (7,79%) of the perior PTK (75,4%) after PTK fist cycle (83,19%) after PTK first cycle(84,86) and second cycle (87,76%). Has increased by 4,57%. Can concluded that the application of cooperative learning jigsaw type II by using Handout can improve students learning outcomes IPA class VIII2 SMP Kemala Pekanbaru Bhayangkari 1 academik year 2016/2017.
