Abstract

This working paper aims to know the practical applicability and implementation of employee discipline in PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru to recognize how the implementation of the discipline of a proper working according to the regulations of the company. The prevalent method used in the making of this working paper is a correlation method. The correlation method obtains the Act of checking the data by comparing between theory and discussion. Based on the observations and analysis at PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru, it can be noticed that the implementation of the employee discipline has not been done properly. It can be seen from the late employees, either in the morning or at the break for various reasons and also there are employees dressed not in accordance with the established rules of the company. There's still some relax employees at the working time. It's happening because of the lack of awareness from the employees towards the implementation of the discipline in the work and the lack of supervision of management. The results of the analysis show that PT Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru should raise awareness of employees about the significance of the discipline of work and improve the oversight of work discipline to reach the company's goals.
