Abstract
Mutation is a form of coaching and development that a company must do to th employees. The purpose of the transfer is to place the employee in his place. The implementation of mutations is not easy and often causes problems because the implementation of mutations that do not pay attention to the skills, expertise and interests of employee work as well as the reluctance of employees to be far from their family. This study aims to determine how much the effect of mutation on the morale of employees who work at PT. RAPP Sector Sungai Mandau. This research was conducted at PT. RAPP Sektor Sungai Mandau Sektor having its address at Sungai Mandau Subdistrict, Lubuk Jering Village, Siak Regency with a total sample of 36 people which elected by researcher. Data collection was carried out by giving questionnaires consisting of mutation indicators and work morale for employees who were transferred to PT. RAPP Sungai Mandau Sector. The results showed that there was a positive influence between the implementation of mutations on the working spirit of PT RAPP Sungai Mandau Sector employees with a fairly good category. Based on the results of simple linear regression analysis, it is known that the relationship of mutation to work morale is relatively strong. Mutations affect employee morale by 63% while 37% are influenced by other factors.
