Abstract

This study aims to investigate the implementation of the tasks undertaken by the Department of Hygiene and Pekanbaru through Section Environmental Hygiene.authorized to conduct waste management in the City Pekanabaru.Indicators used include the assessment in accordance with the official in charge wrote the field of hygiene and parks in the city of Pekanbaru on How to set THL, THL Duties Supervise, Giving Perhataian against THL.Metode study isa quantitative method.This research can be categorized as a descriptive study that memproritaskan questioner list as a data collection tool data collected by the tool is then used as the main raw material to analyze the circumstances of the empirical objectivity of the existence of interest in the location studied.The location of this research was conducted at the Department of Sanitation and the city of Pekanbaru, the discharge of duties of population groups and sample in this research is Harian Power Off (THL) 50 people. Community 24 people, and Head office as much as 3 people. Two sampeling technique used in determining the individual samples. To the leadership of the service using census sampling techniques and to power Haraian Release (THL) and the community using purposive sampling technique. Types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data was collected by using questioner, interview and observation, as well as secondary data, collected through the documents, books and records that are dokumentasi.Sementara data analysis techniques used tools frequency table. Pursuant to this analysis technique researchers assess and conclude that the implementation of the tasks and Sanitation department (Study on Environmental Hygiene Section) are at the interval pretty good assessment. Recommendations should be considered especially with respect to the implementation of official duties kebebersihan and Pekanbaru city parks should be optimized again so that the management of solid waste in the city of Pekanbaru in accordance with the Standard Operational Procedures (SOP) and Pekanbaru City Regional Regulation No. 08 of 2014.
