Abstract

Local D Force Health Insurance Students 2017/2018 Riau Islamic University, seen the ability of students to do long badminton service is still not good. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of arm muscle power to the results of long badminton service in the Local D Force Education Officer 2017/2018 Riau Islamic University. The study was included in the correlation or correlational study with the Local D Class Population Health Student population 2017/2018 Riau Islamic University which amounted to 42 people consisting of 32 sons and 10 daughters. The sample set in the study was 20 sons. The research instrument used is the arm muscle explosive power using the two-hand medicine ball test as variable X and badminton service length test as a variable Y. Then the test results are processed using the formula "r" product moment. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that there is a Contribution of Arm Muscle Power to the Long Service Results of Badminton Students of Local D Force Examination 2017/2018 Riau Islamic University of 54,02% with r = 0,735 > rtable = 0,423,.
