Abstract

This research aims to determine the success rate of policy implementation in Implementation of Care and maintenance of Public Street Lighting on SM. Amin street, Simpang Baru Tampan District by Transportation Service of Pekanbaru City. There are 4 indicators : Communication, Resource, Executive Disposition, Bureaucrtic Structure. Formulation of the problem in this research is how Implementation of Care and maintenance of Public street lighting on SM. Amin street, Simpang Baru Tampan District by Transportation Service of Pekanbaru City.This type of research is using a descriptive survey type, the location of this research is SM. Amin street, Simpang Baru Tampan District Pekanbaru City. The population of this research are Section Chief of Street Lighting, there are 8 people of Street Lighting Section Employees. The sample of this research are 9 people. The type of data used is primary data collected by the process of filling out the Questionnaire and Interview also using the secondary data like Mayor’s Regulation number 19 in 2010 about Installation Instructions of Public Street Lighting of Pekanbaru City and Mayor’s Regulation number 106 in 2016 about Position, Organizational Stucture, Duties and Functions, and Work Procedures of Transportation Service of Pekanbaru City.The result of this research is to know how Implementation of Care and maintenance of Public Street Lighting on SM. Amin Street, Simpang Baru Tampan District by Transportation Service of Pekanbaru City in the category that is quite Implemented. The obstacle is there is no Socialization, lack of Car Ladder Facility Resources, less Implemented of Punishment and Reward, and less Implemented of Supervision of Standard Operating Procedures.
