Abstract

Analysis Semiotics is study of science about symbol and sign. Semiotics purpose for know the meaning in sign or interpret the meaning, and know how communicator constructs the meaning. In this film have many symbol of Jews Zionism appear and get meaning. So for know symbol of Jews Zionism contain in film house of virgin. Title in research is Representation symbol of Jews Zionism ( analysis semiotics film rumah dara ). Purpose of research to know symbol of Jews Zionism. Theory is use method of theory Roland Barthes, method of research is method qualitative descriptive approach. In theory of Roland Barthes get theory map Signifer, Signified, Denotatif sign, and Comotatif Signifer. That sign means physical form that can be captured by the five human senses. Collection data is research observation, documentation and reference relating in researches. This is harmful for life teenagers who do not know all meaning of symbol Zionism, so as not misleading. Symbol of Jews Zionism in film house of Virgin affects with symbols of ideological and attitude which study in religions, so that audience film rumah dara affected by ideological
