Abstract

Based on the observation of the writer on the extracurricular students of SMP Muhammadyah 2 Pekanbaru, found some problems such as not maximal ability sepaksila students caused by the lack of maximal coordination of the eyes and feet of students, so the ball can not be supported properly, in addition to mastery of techniques owned by students is also lacking well, so that the ball in opponent's opponent or teammate can not be properly held by the students. Written ball does not soar well up. The purpose of this research is to know the contribution of eye and foot coordination to sepaksila skills of extracurricular students of SMP Muhammadyah 2 Pekanbaru. This research was conducted by using correlation research design. Population and sample in this research is extracurricular student SMP Muhammadyah 2 Pekanbaru with population counted 22 people. The instruments in this study are the eye and foot coordination tests and soccer tests The correlation analysis technique using r test. Based on the results of research that has been done can be concluded that there is a contribution of eye and foot coordination on the skills of sepaksila skills extracurricular students SMP Muhammadyah 2 Pekanbaru by rhitung = 0.633 > rtabel = 0,468 which belong to the category of correlation level that is strong.
