Abstract
This study aims to determine learning outcomes IPA biology students grade VII1 SMPN Siak Hulu Academic Years 2016/2017 through the implementation of guided inkuiry learning. Data this research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). Were collected on march 25 April 2017. The subjets were students grade VII1 consist of 30 students of 19 male and 11 female students. The data were analyzed based on descriptive. the absortion average student learning outcomes before CAR was 67,5%, after CAR in the first cycle of 68,39% and 87,34% for the second cycle. Classical completeness of students before the implementing CAR is 56,66%, after CAR in the first cycle of to 26,66% and 100% for the second cycle. The average value of KI students before CAR is 73,10%, after CAR in the first cycle of 76,74% and 88,85% for the second cycle. Classical completeness KI before PTK of in the amout of 40% after CAR in the first cycle to 66,66% and the second cycle of 100%. The conclusion of this study that with the implementation of guided inkuiry learning can improve students learning Biology on class VII1 SMPN 06 Siak Hulu Academic Year 2016/2017.
