Abstract

This research is motivated by the observation of: Undergo when passing on, the ball in hand is not perfect or double so as not valid it may be the result of the lack of good basic techniques of passing on untrained. The series of motions passing above can not be done smoothly and well this may be attributable still less trained coordination during a passing over. The ball several times can not be transferred to perfect this may be the result of the lack of good flexibility of the wrist while doing passing over. The purpose of this study was to see whether the contribution to the flexibility of the wrist on the ability of passing on extracurricular student volleyball game SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. The method used is the correlation method. Population in this research was the entire male student extracurricular members volleyball at SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru totaling 12 students. The number of variables in this study are two variable x (spasticity of the wrist) and Y (passing a test on volleyball). From the calculation it is known that a large value product moment correlation (r count) between the flexibility of the wrist towards the capability of passing on extracurricular student volleyball game SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru is 0.592. In the sample of 12 people with significant level of 5% found rtabel = 0.532. thus rhitung> rtabel or 0.592> 0.532. From the results of the calculation are known t = 2.33 (attached) while t table with n = 12 on a 95% confidence level is 2.18. then t> t table 2:33> 2:18 so the hypothesis that ring on your PC "are contributing to the flexibility of the wrist passing ability on extracurricular student volleyball game SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru" acceptable. The calculation result shows that the flexibility of the wrist contributed 35.1%.
