Abstract

This study aims to develop and produce valid and practical mathematics learning tools. Learning tools developed in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Activity Sheets (LAS) with Guided Discovery Learning models. The form of this research is the research development of Research and Development modification (R & D) so that it becomes several stages, namely: (1) potential and problems; (2) data collection; (3) product design; (4) design validity; (5) design revision; (6) product trials; (7) product revision; and (8) final product. This product trial was carried out in class X AK / ADP SMK KANSAI Pekanbaru with 27 students. The data collection instrument of this study is a validation instrument and practical instrument in the form of teacher response questionnaire, student response questionnaire and questionnaire on the implementation of teacher and student learning. The data collection technique of this study is the technique of filling out validation sheets and practicalities. The data analysis technique of this research is the analysis of validity and practicality. From the results of the study, the results of the validity of RPP were 75,77% with the category quite valid and the LAS validity value was 75,66% with a fairly valid category. Practical RPP results are 85,71% with very practical criteria and LAS practicality results of 86,86% with very practical criteria, while the average results of teacher learning outcomes are 91,30% with very practical criteria and the average learning outcomes students obtained an average of 88,04% with very practical criteria. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that development this research can produced a mathematical learning tools with a Guided Discovery Learning model in the sequence and series material for students of class X SMK who are tested for validity and practicality.
