Abstract

Management is a process that helps formulate a policy and organizational goals or processes that provide oversight on an involved in the implementation and achievement of goals. To ensure the implementation of management of the Bestari Duri Terminal by the Bengkalis Regency Transportation Service, a good management system is also needed, both from the Bengkalis District Transportation Service and the people around Terminal Duri Bestari. Problems that arise are facilities and infrastructure that have not been adequate. Thus, the purpose of the study was to find out how the management of Bengkalis Duri Bestari Terminal and what are the obstacles in the management of the Bestari Duri Terminal by the Transportation Service Office of Bengkalis Regency. This type of research is quantitative with the type of survey research, with the research location at the Duri Bestari Terminal and the Office of the Transportation Office of Bengkalis Regency. Types and sources of data used primary data and secondary data, while collecting data through the results of observations, surveys, interviews, and research questionnaires. After the data is obtained and then grouped according to its type in a table, then the data is analyzed and connected with theories in the form of description so that conclusions can be taken. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the Bestari Duri Terminal Management by Bengkalis Regency Government is quite good with a percentage of 41.38%. This is based on the reality found, namely: a) Planning is good enough but it still needs to be improved so that the management runs well. b) Organizing is in a fairly good category but must be maximized. c) Movement is in a fairly good category. d) Supervision is in the good category.
