Abstract
Competition in the era of globalization currently developing quickly.Line with it industry participate developing wider, complex, and varies. Promotional mix is one of the marketing strategies to increase the number of sales of a product. Marketing communication strategy is a concept that the company has designed to market its products with the aim of increasing sales. One company that uses the concept of marketing strategy is PT. SPEKTRA FIF Group Pekanbaru. This study aims to determine the strategies and barriers to marketing marketing promotion mix programs at PT SPEKTRA FIF Pekanbaru. From the perspective of the method used, this study includes qualitative research, with data source collection tools namely primary and secondary data, data collection techniques by observing, interviewing and documenting. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification and confirmation of conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data using triangulation. Based on the research that has been done, the following results are obtained: The communication promotion strategies used include advertising, direct marketing, sales promotion, face-to-face sales, and public relations. All this promotion mix is run by the company and effective in increasing sales. However, there are some obstacles faced by the company in promoting, namely from internal factors of human resources and budget on electronic media. Then external factors are the competition between leasing and consumer tastes that can change at any time.
