Abstract
The continuous of turnover intention phenomenon especially among driver's partner Blue Bird Pool Pekanbaru caused every month the company have to recruit new driver every single month. One of the causes is the work stress experienced by partner drivers due to not having a fixed salary, no accident insurance, and only relying on the incentives by total income every day. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship work stress on turnover intention among partner driver of blue bird pool Pekanbaru. Sampling used purposive sampling technique by sample of 76 partner drivers. Data collection techniques used a scale by 38 items for turnover intention scale and 36 items for work stress scale. Data were analyzed by using product moment correlation test. Based on the results of data description analysis showed the level of turnover intention was high, and the level of work stress was moderate. The result of product moment correlation test shown coefficient r = 0,559 and significance p = 0,000 (<0,05) which mean “hypothesis accepted” that there is positive and significant relationship work stress on turnover intention among partner driver of blue bird pool Pekanbaru. The increase work stress of the partner driver will be increases the turnover intentions, otherwise if the decreases work stress of the partner driver will be decreases turnover intention.
