Abstract

Decision-making is consistent and prudent done to meet consumer needs and behaviors is a desire that is in control even though it is not required and merely a desire to own the goods. This study aims to determine the relationship of decision making to consumptive behavior in Pekanbaru community in doing online shopping. Sampling technique used in random sampling with simple random sampling method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people Pekanbaru community that apply online shopping. The method used in this study using Likert scale. Sakla used is the scale of decision making and the scale of consumptive behavior. Through the help of SPSS data program version 17.0 for windows. Statistk results have shown that: there is a significant relationship between decision making on consumptive behavior of (r = 0.335, p = 0.000). The contribution value given is R2 = 0.112 or equal to 11.2%. this shows that the relationship between decision making to consumptive behavior of the newbies who do online shopping is 11.2%. this means that decision-making variables have a significant relationship to consumptive behavior of Pekanbaru community who do online shopping.
