Abstract

This study, entitled Analysis of Dance Lungun Koba in Studio Art Centers Home Proco Rokan Hulu in Riau Province. Issues addressed in this research in how Analysis Lungun Koba Dance in Studio Art Centers Home Proco Rokan Hulu in Riau Province? The theory of analysis used is by thinking of activities appendices to describe a whole into parts so that they can recognize the signs of components, relation, with each other and their respective function in a single integrated whole ( 2001 ). The theory used in this study uses the theory sudarsono stated elements or elements such as the movement of dance, music, floor design, costumes, makeup, dynamics, themes, props, lighting and staging procedures. The method used is a qualitative method that uses data collection techniques of observation, interview and dovumentation. Sources and types of data are primary data and secondary data. The primary data is direct obeservation or interview and secondary data is data obtained through books and cameras. The result of the author’s research is the Lungun Koba dance is a creations dance by Dasrikal. Lungun Koba dance tells about a longing for koba or a sung syrup and in it there is advice. Dance is grounded in the basic interest rate movements silat of Rokan Hulu as Tondan, Sendeng and Tupai Bagoluik. Lungun Koba dance is danced 10 peoples among 4 dancers male and 3 female dancers. Lungun Koba dance lasted for approximately 7 minutes 30 seconds. Lungun Koba dance serves as eertainment,
