Abstract
The purpose this research is to compare of biological learning outcomes that apply Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model that is applied in grade VII students of MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2017/2018, on the material of in the characteristic of substance and the changing. Sampling was done based on homogeneity test of pre-test value. Two homogeneous classes were then chosen by drawing to determine which class will apply experimental 1 (X1) or experiment 2 (Xii2), then selected class VII 2 as experiment class 1 will apply Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and class VII 3 as an experimental class 2 will apply the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model. The result of descriptive data analysis obtained average learning result of PostTest of student, experiment class 1 = 76,41 and experiment class 2 = 73,32, the result of student psychomotor learning of experiment class 1 = 86,90 and experiment class 2 = 85,76. Analysis of uji-T data is known that T hitung (-1,15) < T tabel (2,00) with dk = 65 and standard = 0.05, then H0 is accepted and H 1 is rejected. It can be concluded that there is no difference in learning outcomes between classes applying the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model and the classes that apply the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model in grade VII at MTs Muhammadiyah 02 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2017/2018.
