Abstract

This study aims to find out how the performance of the Public Works Department in Road Infrastructure Development in Siak Regency is specifically in Sungai Mandau Subdistrict in the field of public works and community irrigation, to find out what obstacles occur in the repair of damaged roads in the District Mandau River. The role assessment indicators used include development, management, maintenance. The type of research used is a qualitative type using the interview method, which is how to collect data used to obtain information directly from the source. This interview is used if you want to know the things of the respondents more deeply and the number of respondents is small. In obtaining data, researchers conducted interviews with employees of 4 employees and 3 people. Types and data collection techniques used are primary data collected using interviews and secondary data collected using observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool, then analyzed quantitatively descriptively. Based on the results of research conducted at the Public Works Department of Siak Regency in the development of road infrastructure using four performance indicators namely development, management and maintenance, it can be concluded that the performance of the Public Works Office of Siak district is good enough. Based on the productivity performance of the service of the public works of Siak regency which is quite maximal this can be seen from the efforts made for the maintenance of road infrastructure in the river district of Mandau.
