Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of tourism promotion policies which is done by the cultural and tourism office of Pekanbaru City. Met o de of this study was descriptive survey. This research is located in the Office of Culture and Tourism Pekanbaru City which is located on Jl. Arifin Ahmad No.39 Tangkerang Barat, Marpoyan Damai Pekanbaru . The population in this study amounted to 6 people. The sampling technique in this study uses census techniques, the sample in this study the authors set as many as 4 respondents. Data streaming technique in this research is interview, observation and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of tourism promotion policy by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Pekanbaru City from the aspect of communication has been running optimally. Viewed from the aspect of resources, UPT Lake UPT staff is still only about 15 people, but in terms of quality is very adequate because previously had followed the trainings. From the disposition aspect, the placement of UPT Lake Bandar Kayangan employees is in accordance with their respective fields and expertise. Viewed from the bureaucratic structure can work well together.
