Abstract

Standards on PT. Transportation of the Lake Crossing River (PT. ASDP) of the Batam City Branch. The service standard research indicators implemented include, Safety, Security, Comfort, Ease / affordability, and equality. This type of research located in Batam City Telaga Punggur Port, Riau Islands Province is a descriptive survey that prioritizes questionnaire lists as data and data collection tools which is collected is then used as the main material to analyze the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives on the location. There are five population groups and samples in this study, namely Staff Staff totaling 6 people and Office Manager 1 person, ABK (Ship Crew) totaling 10 people and masters of 1 person, passengers are 30 people. The two sampling techniques used in this study were the census technique for the population of staff staff and crew members, incidental sampling for the passenger population, business managers and masters was carried out with interviews. The types and techniques of data collection consist of primary data collected by questionnaire list techniques and interviews and secondary data using observation techniques. While the analytical techniques used are using frequency aids. Based on this analysis the researchers concluded that the Service Standard on a Roll On Roll Ship Off PT. Batam City River Crossing Transportation (PT. ASDP) transportation regarding safety, comfort, ease / affordability and equality can be categorized as good but there are still researchers who encounter shortcomings that must be maximized again and security is at a poor interval. Regarding security to maintain order, complaints about security and security facilities on board need to be maximized in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure.
