Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of objectivity of the supervision of the issuance of Sailing Period of Sailing in the Office of the Port of Dabo Singkep Port, Subdistrict Singkep Regency linga. Monitoring supervision indicators used include setting standards, measuring performance, comparing performance in accordance with standards, and taking remedial action. The type of research located in Dabo Singkep, Singkep Subdistrict, Linga Regency of Riau Islands Province is descriptive survey that prioritizes the list of quissioners as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool then used as main raw material to analyze the empirical condition of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at the location be careful. There are four groups of population and sample in this research that is, employee amounted to 14 people, passenger ship of infinity amount, PT / Airlines of Sailing amount 5 person, boat captain of 5 people. The sampling quantities determined from the total population in this study amounted to 50. Three sampling techniques used in this study are census techniques for employee population, incidental sampling for passenger population and perposive sampling practice for PT / Airlines and Shipwreck. Types and data collection techniques consist of primary data collected by quisioner list and interview techniques and secondary data using observation techniques. While the analysis technique used by using the tool frequency. Based on this analysis, the researcher concludes that the Monitoring of Issuance of Letter of Aim of Sailing at the Office of Pengelenggra Unit of Dabo Singkep Port, Singkep Sub-district of Lingga Regency is at an unfavorable interval. Recommendations that need to be considered especially regarding the process of checking the readiness of the ship must be in accordance with the SOP, and officers must be more assertive in providing supervision.
