Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effect of recruitment process (X1) and selection (X2) to performance variable (Y) at nurse of Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru. The sample in this study amounted to 51 nurses with multiple linear regression analysis. Methods of data collection in this study is to use questionnaires and interviews. Qualitative data analysis method and quantitative method that is with multiple linear regression analysis used to measure the effect of recruitment and selection process on nurse performance at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru. From the results of this study, the recruitment process has a significant influence on the performance of nurses at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru with tcount (4.043)> ttable (2.010) and the resulting significance value of 0.000. In addition, the selection also has a significant influence on the performance of nurses at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru with tcount (6,850)> ttable (2.010) and the resulting significance value of 0.000. This means that simultaneously the recruitment and selection process has a significant influence on the performance of nurses at Syafira Hospital Pekanbaru with F count (37,256)> F table (3.19) with Sig. (0,000) <0.05.
