Abstract
Layout is an important thing for tourism to determine effectiveness in recreation. An effective layout can help an organization achieve a strategy that supports differentiation, low costs and responsiveness. The purpose of this study was to determine the layout of the Asia Farm Pekanbaru recreational park facilities and to analyze the layout strategy of the Asia Farm Pekanbaru recreational park facilities using descriptive data analysis and using the activity relationship chart (ARC) model. The results showed that the space capacity, information flow and environment had been effective, while the layout of the buildings and facilities had not been effective. Analysis of the activity relationship chart (ARC) concluded that there were buildings that had not been properly placed.
