Abstract

The purpose in this research examined to explain the implementation of based-sharia human resource management at Sharia Stefani Hotel at Pekanbaru City. This research used descriptive qualitative method with data collection technique used observation, interview and documentation. Based on preliminary study, the hotel management had been implemented the sharia principle but did not full in sharia recruitment, sharia selection, sharia development and training, sharia performance evaluation and sharia compensation. This research finding had been got the result and it could be concluded that; in sharia recruitment at Sharia Stefani Hotel Pekanbaru had been implemented sharia recruitment as well. In this case, the management also offered the placement specification in job description. In case sharia selection, the hotel did not implement the selection process such as employee test in sharia way but focused on honesty, trust, responsibility, and employee discipline. In case development and training, it did not have training about hotel but the management delegated the employee to follow the certification. In sharia performant evaluation case, the management did not do the evaluation in special or formally. In sharia compensation for employee, the management gave salary suitable with the procedures that had been appointed by the hotel. It was suggested to sharia Stefani hotel at Pekanbaru city to give attention and implement Islamic rules in finding human resources such as; recruitment, selection, development and training, evaluation performance, and compensation to employee or employees candidates.
