Abstract
This research was carried out at the Meral Barat Subdistrict Head Office, Karimun Regency, while the purpose of this study was to find out how the quality of electronic identity card services at the Meral Barat Subdistrict Subdistrict Office and what were the obstacles in the service of making Electronic Identity Cards. This study uses a descriptive method using a mixed methods approach. The population in this study were the sub-district head, district secretary, head of government administration, population administration employees, and the community. The sampling technique for the Camat, District Secretary, and Head of the government uses the census technique, for population administration employees using purposive sampling technique, while for the community using incidental sampling technique. The service quality theory that the researcher uses is the Sampara theory with substantive, administrative, and technical indicators. With the results of research conducted on each sub-indicator, the conclusion is that the service quality of Electronic Identity Cards at the Sub-district Office of Meral Barat, Karimun Regency (the "PATEN" District Integrated Administrative Service model approach) is categorized as quite good with a percentage of 49%. This is due to the unavailability of e-KTP recording equipment in West Meral District.
