Abstract

Mirasa Crackers Agroindustry faces a gap between market potential and operational problems in raw material supplies, so a business analysis is needed to maintain production stability. This study aims to (1) Analyze the characteristics of entrepreneurs and the profile of the Mirasa Crackers Agroindustry business (2) Analyze the business including the use of production factors, production costs, production processes, prices, income, business efficiency, and added value and (3) Analyze the control of raw material inventory in the Mirasa Crackers Agroindustry. This study is a case study of the Mirasa Crackers Agroindustry business, from February to July 2025. Respondents in this study are business owners and workers. The data used includes primary and secondary data. Furthermore, the data are analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study show that (1) The characteristics of entrepreneurs indicate a productive age (35 years), adequate educational background (15 years or equivalent to Diploma 3) and sufficient business experience (12 years). The business profile shows that this business has been running for 24 years, this business is classified as a small industry with an initial capital of Rp 10,000,000 and a total of 8 workers. (2) The use of production factors includes tools, raw materials, and supporting materials. The raw material used is starch flour, in one production process as much as 6 sacks or 150 kg (1 sack = 25 kg). The total production cost is Rp 4,366,110 per production process. The Mirasa Crackers product produced reaches 3,600 packs per production process. This business generates a gross income of Rp 10,800,000 and a net income of Rp 6,433,890 per production process. The business efficiency value (R/C ratio) is recorded at 2.47, and the added value obtained is Rp 49,221/kg. (3) The optimal number of orders for starch flour raw materials using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method is 786 sacks, with an ordering frequency of 3 times a year. The total inventory cost of raw materials is Rp 1,656,351 and the storage cost is Rp 2,107.14/sack. In addition, the safety stock is set at 22 sacks and the reorder point is 48 sacks.
