Abstract
The research area is in the Kota Beld area to wndasang, Ranau, which is located on the island of Borneo which has the stigma of being tectonically safe. However, there is minimal research on tectonic geomorphology, seismicity , surface fractures , estimation.Moment magnitudeFutwre earthquake (Mw ) data combined with fie ld geological data creates a significant knowledge gap. To address this challenge, this research aims to compile tectonic geomorphology mapping conduc t seismic activity analysis, and construct a neotectonic map based on field data The research was conducted using an integrative approach, utilizing primary and secondary data Primary data was collected by recording deformation evidence in the field Secondary data was collected in the studio using applications such as.rcGLS, Geo.Map app,Faul tKin, And GcoRRoseThe results of the tectonic geomorphology analysis identified 36 fault segments and 29 structural valleys of the pypefault branch, releasing bend, And fault termination Seismicity analysis indicates a predominance of sinistral and normal strike-slip faults with northwest-southeast ad northeast-southwest strike-slip directions . Potential future earthquake strength is estimated to range from a minimum magitude of 6 Me to a maxiu magnitude of • Mw. Evidence of field deformation is in the form of ridges perpendicular to the fault line.triangular facetmovement results Kundasang Fault F), type of foldclose plunging inclined And close upright horizontal fold, Kituontu! Fault (KeF) movement destruction zone, landslide resulting from movement Nabutan-Paginatan Fault (NPF) and Beluud-Nabalu Fault BNF. In addition, the geomorphol ogy of the peak of Mount inabalu is controlled by anticline folds and strike-slip fault deformations that form flower structure . surface cracks (ground fissure) movement results Nabutan-Pagiatan Fault (NPF), Kundasang Fault F) and Belud - Nabalu Fault (BNF. System interaction Beluud Nabaluu Fault «BNF and Telipolk - Kinabalu Faur (TKFy play a role in shaping the valley morphology through shear and extension mechanisms . Riedl shear strain ellipsoid mode ling shows pre compressional shear (pure shear compression), The integration of tectonic and seismic geomorphological data confirms the high tectonic activity and the urgency of disaster mitigation in densely populated valley areas , namely Bongol Valley(BgI,Kokol Valley (Kol), and Sepanggar Valley (SI) along the pathTelipok - Kiabalu Fault (tkf)
