Abstract

The closest service that is often related to the community is the service provided at the Village office. Many things are the duties and responsibilities of the Village office such as making a Letter of Introduction to Making KTP and KK, Marriage Permit, Certificate of Change of Domicile, Business Certificate or Community Business Permit and so on. The purpose of the study To determine public services and To identify obstacles faced in providing services at the Seberang Taluk Village office, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency in providing services. This study uses the Public Service Theory from Zainal Makaron and qualitative research methods. The results of the Public Service Analysis study at the Seberang Taluk Village Government Office, Kuantan Tengah District, Kuantan Singingi Regency are that the Service Operational Standards carried out by the Seberang Taluk Village government have been implemented in accordance with the Decree of the Head of Seberang Taluk Village Number: 140 / 8 / KPTS / SBT / 2020 Date: March 12, 2020 Concerning Standard Operating Procedures in the Seberang Taluk Village Government Environment regarding requirements, processing time, costs and authority to sign letters have been carried out properly. Obstacles in providing services include the following: The village office does not yet have a sophisticated printing machine or printer, the village office does not yet have a photocopy machine, lack of work discipline among village office employees.
