Abstract
The increasing population and domestic activities have contributed to the decline of clean water quality in residential areas, including the Persada Indah Tualang Housing Complex. This condition highlights the need for a real-time monitoring system capable of providing accurate information regarding water quality. This study aims to design and develop a clean water monitoring system based on the Internet of Things (IoT) integrated with the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method as an intelligent decision-support mechanism. The system utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller connected to a DS18B20 temperature sensor, a pH sensor, and a turbidity sensor to measure key water quality parameters. Sensor data are processed using the fuzzy inference method to generate a percentage value representing water cleanliness, categorized as Suitable, Moderate, or Unsuitable. The results are displayed on an LCD and monitored through a Laravelbased web dashboard via Wi-Fi. Experimental testing demonstrates that all sensors provide stable and consistent readings. Additionally, the comparison between automated fuzzy calculations and manual computations shows highly similar results, validating the accuracy of the Tsukamoto method in assessing water quality. Overall, the developed monitoring system is proven effective in delivering accurate, real-time information on residential clean water conditions, thereby supporting efforts to prevent potential health risks.
