Abstract

Wells X, Y and Z are located in the PT emp Gandewa Lindai field which currently still uses artificial lift SRP with problems experienced by the pump often stuck, the pump jammed due to the type of oil that is heavy and sandy, components at the wellhead such as sailing box, v-belt, polished rod and others often disconnected due to the SRP capability has decreased from the data obtained SRP production in the past 5 years at 37,400 MMSTB this is caused by the pump often shutting down and not producing thus the replacement of artificial lift PCP is carried out to increase annual production again and reduce costs incurred. PCP design uses nodal analysis on pipesim software with well pump type LD 14 48 k 600, well LD 22 48 k 900 and LD 05 48 k 600 from the results of production runing has increased from 38 BOPD to 48 BOPD although the increase is only a little problem experienced by SRP can be maximized by using PCP, it can be seen that the simulation run for 5 years gets a profit of up to 30,817 MMSTB, from the results of the economic analysis of PCP benefit to cost is more profitable than SRP benefit to cost with a difference of 8.4 to 2.3 thus the replacement of the pump that I did was more profitable than maintaining the old pump.
