Abstract

The Integrated Services Unit of the Mandau Duri District Regional Revenue Agency, which is an extension of the Bengkalis Regency Regional Revenue Agency, is also indicated to be experiencing problems with employee motivation and job satisfaction which is still low, as indicated by the level of employee attendance, which can affect work results, both quality and quantity, which of course will worsen the organization's image. This research aims to see the influence of leadership communication styles on employee motivation and job satisfaction at the UPT Regional Revenue Agency, Mandau Duri District. The population in this study were all employees of the Mandau Duri Regional Revenue UPT, totaling 29 employees. Meanwhile, the sampling technique uses saturated sampling or census. The data analysis method used is SEM using the SmartPLS program. The research found that the leader's communication style had a positive and significant effect on employee motivation and job satisfaction. The better the leader's communication style is perceived by employees, the employee's work satisfaction and motivation will increase and conversely, the worse the leader's communication style is perceived by employees, the employee's job satisfaction will decrease. Then work motivation also has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction. The higher the employee's work motivation, the employee's job satisfaction will increase and vice versa, the lower the employee's work motivation, the lower the employee's job satisfaction will be.
