Abstract

This study aims to determine the Role of the Rokan Hulu Regency Tourism and Culture Office in Managing the Cipogas Lake Tourism Object. The indicators in this study are Motivators, Facilitators and Dynamics. The location of the study is the Rokan Hulu Regency Tourism and Culture Office. In this study, there is a phenomenon that causes the lack of development of the Cipogas Lake Tourism Object. This can be seen from the less than optimal development of the Sipogas Lake tourist object as one of the superior tourist objects in Rokan Hulu Regency, this can be seen from the facilities and infrastructure that are no longer suitable for use. The theory used in this study is the theory of Pitana and Gayatri (2005). This type of research is Qualitative, data collection techniques are Observation, Interviews and Documentation, data analysis techniques by collecting all data then presenting data so that conclusions can be drawn in answering all problems.
