Abstract
The phenomenon of a decline in the number of gold installment financing customers in 2024 was interesting to study, as this financing experienced significant growth nationally. However, this contrasted with the local trend of declining customer numbers. The study aimed to analyze the influence of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control on customer decisions to apply gold installment financing at Indonesian Sharia Bank (BSI) of Bagan Batu Branch. This was a field study with a quantitative approach. The data source of the study was from primary data with an analysis technique of multiple linear regression and the data processing was performed by SPSS Version 26 software. The sample of the study consisted of 71 customers taken from the population of gold installment customers at BSI of Bagan Batu Branch. Then, the data were analyzed by using multiple linear regression. The results of the t-test showed that the attitudes had a positive and significant influence on customer decisions, with the value of t-count 4.441> t-table 1.996 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. Similarly, the perceived behavioral control also had a positive and significant influence, with the value of tcount 5.995> t-table 1.996 and a significant value of 0.000 <0.05. However, the subjective norms did not have a significant influence on customer decisions, with the value of t-count 0.308 <t-table 1.996 and a significant value of 0.759> 0.05. Simultaneously, these three variables had a significant influence on customer decisions. The study concluded that the attitudes and perceived behavioral control were the dominant factors in influencing customer decisions, accounting for 70.8% of the analysis, while the remaining 29.2% was influenced by factors outside the model.
