Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of workload and work stress on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Rokan Hilir Regency. The population in this study was 131 employees. Sampling used a purposive sampling method where part of the population was sampled as many as 63 honorary employees. The types and sources of data are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use observation, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis method used in this study is using Partial Least Square (PLS) by utilizing Smart-PLS 4.1 statistical software. The results of this study indicate that “ Workload and work stress have a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance at the Public Works and Spatial Planning Department of Rokan Hilir Regency.”
