Abstract

rauma healing is one of the approaches used in efforts to address cases of violence against children, to help victims cope with the psychological impact of traumatic experiences. This study aims to determine the trauma healing efforts provided to child victims of violence by the UPTD Protection of Women and Children in Lima Puluh Kota Regency (Lima Puluh Kota District Women and Children Protection Unit). The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, documentation, and in- depth interviews with key informants and relevant parties. The DPPKBPPA plays a role in reaching out to victims, providing legal and medical assistance, and facilitating psychological recovery through trauma healing conducted by psychologists, which includes initial assessment, session implementation, evaluation, follow-up, and monitoring.
