Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Duties of the Village Head in Managing Village Assets by the Pematang Tinggi Village Government, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency. This study uses a qualitative research method. The theory used in this study uses William N Dunn's policy evaluation. The indicators in this study are: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, accuracy, and responsiveness. This study was conducted in Pematang Tinggi Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observations, and documentation. The technique for determining informants was determined intentionally based on certain criteria or considerations, namely by involving related people. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the duties of the village head are still lacking in Managing Village Assets, especially building assets. Many Village Assets are poorly maintained and have not been optimally utilized for the benefit of the community. The conclusion of this study is the need to increase the capacity of village heads and their staff in Managing Village Assets, so that Village Assets can provide maximum benefits to the community and support sustainable Village Development.
