Abstract

his study aims to determine the effectiveness of Integrated Sub-district Administration Services (PATEN) at the Siak Hulu Sub-district Office, Kampar Regency. This research was motivated by various problems encountered in the Integrated Sub-district Administration Services (PATEN) process, such as the lack of socialization and information provided by the Siak Hulu Sub-district Government to the public regarding services, and the persistence of services that do not comply with the specified timeframe. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with the effectiveness approach according to Sondang P. Siagian, which includes three indicators: time, accuracy, and service delivery style. Data were obtained through observation, interviews with key informants and informants, and documentation from relevant agencies. The results indicate that the Integrated Sub-district Administration Services (PATEN) at the Siak Hulu Sub-district Office, Kampar Regency, are still less than optimal. Many residents still complain about the time it takes to complete certificates, the lack of information boards or similar displays regarding certificate requirements, and the lack of friendly service staff.
