Abstract

The lack of public trust in the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise in Tanjung Alai Village is due to the lack of transparency of the Village Government regarding the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise Fund based on the report of the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise Business Unit, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the Village Government in the management of the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise in Tanjung Alai Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency. To determine the role of the Village Government in the management of the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise in Tanjung Alai Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency. The research indicators are the role of the government as a Regulator, Dynamist, Facilitator, and Catalyst. This research was conducted at the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise. The data collection techniques used were qualitative interviews, qualitative observations, and qualitative documents. The data analysis technique used was to systematically search for and compile data obtained from interviews, field notes and other materials. The results of the study can show that the role of the Village Government in managing the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise in Tanjung Alai Village has not played a sufficient role, because there are still limited Human Resources in compiling structured reports on the Koto Sepakat Village-Owned Enterprise and the income of the village and village community has not shown a significant increase.
