Abstract

Sri Mujinab Special School Pekanbaru is a private special school located in Sail District, Pekanbaru City, Riau. Sri Mujinab Special School Pekanbaru was established on June 8, 1999, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture. In its teaching activities, the Riau Provincial Education Office has changed the status of Sri Mujinab Special School in Pekanbaru City to Sri Mujinab State Special School in Riau Province. This status change is stipulated in the Decree of the Governor of Riau No. 6951/VIII/2023 concerning the Change of the Sri Mujinab Special School Education Unit in Pekanbaru City to Sri Mujinab Special School in Riau Province. As a consequence of this country's change in status, all assets owned by the foundation will be transferred to the government. All operations of Sri Mujinab Special Needs School (SLBN) will also be the responsibility of the Riau Education Office, just like other public special needs schools (SLB). This includes teaching staff, funding, quality improvement, and school development. Some facilities are already failing.
