Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the learning environment on the discipline character of fifth-grade students at SDN 21 Pekanbaru. The learning environment is one of the key factors in shaping students' character, including discipline. This research applied a quantitative approach using a Ex Post Facto. The population consisted of all fifth-grade students, with a sample of 27 students from class VC. Data collection was conducted using a validated questionnaire, which was tested for validity and reliability. The results revealed a significant influence of the learning environment on students' discipline character. This is supported by the results of the paired sample t-test which showed a significance value of < 0.05 and the determination coefficient test which demonstrated the contribution of the learning environment variable to the formation of students’ discipline character.
