Abstract
Manual human resource management (HRM) systems often create gaps between operational needs and the speed of data processing required by companies. PT Balam Berlian Sawit faces similar challenges, particularly in recording employee attendance, processing leave requests, and managing payroll. This study proposes the development of a web-based Human Resource Management System (HRMS) using the Server-Side Rendering (SSR) approach with the Next.js framework. SSR allows web pages to be processed on the server side, resulting in faster initial load times and reduced risks of data management errors. Utilizing the Waterfall development method, the system was designed through stages of requirements analysis, interface and database design, feature implementation, and functional testing. The implementation results show that the application successfully integrates employee data management, digital attendance, online leave requests, electronic payslips, and internal announcements into a single platform. System testing indicates improved work efficiency and online data accessibility. With these capabilities, the HRMS application provides a relevant solution to support streamlined HR administration at PT Balam Berlian Sawit.
