Abstract

In the current era of digitalization, the utilization of information technology has become an unavoidable necessity, particularly in the administration of population services. This administration is a crucial element of village governance that directly relates to community needs, such as population data collection and the creation of civil administration documents. At the Sungai Kuning Binio Village Office, the population service administration system is still conducted conventionally, leading to various challenges, such as long service times, inefficiencies in data management, and high resource consumption. The process of document management becomes increasingly difficult for residents living far from the village office. Therefore, this research aims to develop a Web-Based Population Service Administration Information System that can enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of services. This system allows residents to submit requests online, thereby saving time and operational costs. Additionally, it will assist village officials in managing population data more systematically, ultimately improving the quality of service to the community. The implementation of this information system utilizes the waterfall model, which is expected to provide an innovative solution for modernizing population administration at the Sungai Kuning Binio Village Office and to encourage digital transformation at the village government level. This research has a User Acceptance Test result at 97.4%.
