Abstract

The rapid advancement of information technology has encouraged various business sectors to adopt digital solutions, including in sales transaction management. O’Bryan Coffee, a business operating in the culinary field, faces challenges in recording sales and managing cashier data, which are still done manually. This often leads to recording errors, delays in report generation, and inefficiencies in daily operations.This study aims to design and develop a web-based cashier and sales recording information system that facilitates automated transactions, real-time data recording, and the generation of accurate and timely sales reports. The system development follows the waterfall methodology, which includes the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The system is built using PHP as the programming language and MySQL as the database.The result of this research is a web-based information system that assists administrators, cashiers, and managers in managing transactions, product data, and sales reports. With this system, the recording process becomes more efficient, accurate, and helps minimize human error associated with manual entry.
