Abstract

The advancement of information technology encourages government institutions to transform toward more efficient and modern work systems, one of which is through the implementation of a smart office. This study aims to implement a cloud storage server as a centralized and integrated data storage solution at the Air Dingin Subdistrict Office. By utilizing open-source technologies such as Linux Ubuntu Server and Nextcloud, the system is designed to enhance work efficiency, data security, and ease of access for internal office devices. The system development method used is a prototyping approach, starting from network design, server installation, to system testing. The implementation results show that the cloud storage server supports the digitalization of archives and real-time collaboration among work units. This system is expected to serve as a foundational step in building a modern, secure, and responsive information technology-based work environment. Then, testing was carried out on the server's CPU, and an increase was observed during the data upload process with 1 user and 2 users simultaneously CPU increased from 18% to 22%. Similarly, during the data download process with 1 user and 2 users simultaneously, CPU usage also increased CPU 46% to 59%.
