Abstract
This research aims to design and develop a prototype of an automatic baby swing monitoring device based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to assist parents in monitoring and soothing their babies in real-time. The system utilizes several sensors, including a sound sensor to detect baby cries, a PIR sensor to detect movement, and a DHT22 sensor to measure environmental temperature and humidity. The NodeMCU ESP8266 functions as the main controller, while the ESP32-CAM is used to capture images of the baby and send them via a Telegram bot. When the system detects baby activity, a servo motor automatically swings the cradle for two minutes while transmitting environmental data and images to the parents. Test results indicate that the prototype operates in an integrated manner and responds quickly to changes in the baby’s condition. The system is also capable of sending automatic notifications, offering an efficient and innovative solution for modern parents using IoT-based technology.
