Abstract
This study aims to analyze the performance of the Sucker Rod Pump (SRP) in increasing production rates in wells at Field Y using PROSPER software. Simulations were conducted to determine the optimal parameters such as pump depth, stroke length, pump speed, and volumetric efficiency, which can significantly enhance oil production rates. The simulation results show an increase in production rate from 36.2316 STB/day in the first month to 822.18 STB/day in the 20th month. This increase indicates that optimizing the SRP design can improve fluid lifting efficiency and reduce the risk of mechanical failure in the pump. Based on the research findings, selecting the right SRP parameters has proven to be effective in optimizing the production potential of wells at Field Y. This approach can serve as a reference for implementing similar designs in other wells with similar characteristics. Further field testing is recommended to validate the simulation results and evaluate SRP performance in real-time conditions.
