Abstract
Land use changes that have occurred, especially in urban areas, will result in a reduction in natural absorption areas, which are part of the hydrological cycle concept. When it rains, most of the water flow will be directed into the local drainage system. The changes in land use will reduce the drainage system's capacity, and this reduction in capacity will cause significant problems for the area, environment, and region, such as waterlogging and flooding. This study aims to plan an analysis of zero runoff scenarios and determine the number of efficient zero runoff concepts at SMPN 35 Pekanbaru. The research method used is a descriptive method involving the collection of secondary data, specifically rainfall data obtained from BWSS Riau. Primary data was obtained through field observations, including soil infiltration rates and catchment areas at SMPN 35 Pekanbaru. The study identified three zero runoff scenario concepts applicable to SMPN 35 Pekanbaru: rainwater harvesting (PAH) requiring two water tanks with a capacity of 2,000 liters each. Two infiltration wells are required, along with three biopore infiltration holes with a diameter of 10 cm and a depth of 100 cm. Thus, the three zero runoff scenario concepts can be evaluated as feasible for implementation in the SMPN 35 Pekanbaru schoolyard area, yielding a percentage of 253.95%.
